Fear of publication
A blog is nothing I would create and maintain in my own life. It carries with it a fear. What if I misspell a word? What if my grammar sucks? What if no one but my kids read my blog? It's like high school all over... will I be the last one standing on the red line, and the other team is like... "Yeah, I guess we'll take her." Ah, the fear of humiliation. I much prefer to blend in, stick with the crowd, let the other guy take the lead. There's nothing wrong with being a follower, right? Someone has to follow. Without followers, there couldn't be any leaders.

GrooveLily is a theatrical power-pop trio consisting of Valerie Vigoda, Brendan Milburn, and Gene Lewin. I have known of the band since they formed in 1994. All the members are very talented, artistic and have brilliant minds. I do not know them personally, but often get updates on the highlights through my grandma, and she shares the CD's and videos they have released. The picture of the band is copied from the official website, and not taken by me (the other groovelily)

I can put two of your fears to rest right away. First I carefully checked your post and I don't see any misspelled words or gramatical errors. Second, I added your blog to my favorites so someone other than your children will read it.
Hmmm, my fear is that someone other than my (nonexistent hypothetical) children WILL read my blog!
Congratulations on creating your blog. Occasionally we'll be commenting on your posts--just our way of chiming in on what you've written.
