Thank you to everyone who did a sundance (or even half of a sundance)! I had such faith in you, I went ahead and just dressed like it was farmin' summer out. And, what ya know... this large bright glowing object appeared and warmed the air in such a way that I could remove my jacket even! Whatever you did, you must do it again. And again. And again. And again.
The groovykids even got to break in the new very dangerous water toy that is sure to break a bone!
It was bliss. And happiness.

Where'd the name Groovelily come from???
GrooveLily is a theatrical power-pop trio consisting of Valerie Vigoda, Brendan Milburn, and Gene Lewin. I have known of the band since they formed in 1994. All the members are very talented, artistic and have brilliant minds. I do not know them personally, but often get updates on the highlights through my grandma, and she shares the CD's and videos they have released. The picture of the band is copied from the official website, and not taken by me (the other groovelily)

- About the blog name... It's taken from a Prince song. I like starfish, but I don't drink coffee. And Groovelily... well, it's lifted also. Some cousin a million times removed has a band by that name. I thought it was kinda cute. I claim no individual creativity.

Great picture of you and the kids! However, now that you have your nifty new super-duper dangerous toy, you'll have to post videos of your family breaking various parts of their anatomy. ;-)
I missed the sundance, but I didn't miss the sun; thanks for arranging to bring it out. Thanks also for the shopping tip on the toy; my elbow is now specially re-inforced with screws and stuff, so I shouldn't have to worry about it breaking again.
